Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of brochureboss.com and BrochureBoss software (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

The Service

BrochureBoss provides desktop publishing tools, including a browser-based beta and a planned downloadable desktop application. Features, availability, and pricing may change. During the browser beta, access is free as described on the pricing page. Opening .pub files is intended to remain free; other paid options may be introduced later with advance notice to beta users.

Your content

You retain ownership of documents and files you create or import. You are responsible for having the rights to any content you use (text, images, fonts, and so on). You must not use the Service for unlawful material or to infringe others’ rights.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the Service, abuse shared infrastructure, reverse engineer in violation of applicable law, or use the Service to harm others. We may suspend access for misuse.

Beta software

The browser beta is provided as-is while under active development. Import of Microsoft Publisher (.pub) files handles most documents; complex layouts may require small manual fixes. We do not guarantee that every legacy file will convert perfectly.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrochureBoss and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars ($50).

Third-party trademarks

Microsoft, Publisher, and related names are trademarks of their respective owners. BrochureBoss is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.

Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. Material changes to paid offerings will be communicated to affected users in advance when practical.
